The Lincolnton-Lincoln County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #85 was formed on April 6, 2004 by active and retired Law Enforcement Officers from the Lincolnton Police Department, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Maiden Police Department and Charlotte Airport Police.

 

Our lodge is currently one of over 50 in the State of NC and one of over 2100 lodges located through the United States. There are currently more than 310,000 members in the FOP.

 

Membership in the FOP provides members with three basic benefits; a death benefit to families in case of a members death, a legal defense fund to defend members from civil and criminal actions, and a voice in federal and state governments on matters concerning law enforcement officers.
